Our Commitment in Action
Solar Thermal Energy
For over 20 years, our rooftop solar thermal system has provided hot water for the guest rooms and kitchens. Thanks to careful internal monitoring, we heat over 1,000 litres of water per day during the summer, saving up to 600 litres of fuel for heating each year.
Electricity from Renewable Sources
Since 2025, Hotel Centrale Alleghe has sourced 100% of its electricity from renewable energy providers, as certified officially. This proactive choice significantly reduces our environmental impact, aligning with our vision for a more sustainable future. By relying on certified renewable energy, we actively support the transition towards cleaner and more sustainable operations.
Electric Vehicle Charging Station
We believe everyday choices, including transportation, play a crucial role in sustainability. That's why we offer a convenient charging station for electric vehicles—available for guests who prefer eco-friendly travel. It’s one more way we actively promote sustainable mobility, reinforcing our commitment to environmentally conscious tourism.
High-Efficiency Electric Kitchen
To further reduce our environmental impact, we have replaced our old diesel-powered kitchen with a modern, highly efficient electric kitchen. This switch has entirely eliminated our reliance on fossil fuels for cooking, significantly reducing emissions and enhancing our daily sustainability efforts.
We carefully select energy-efficient appliances and equipment throughout the hotel, ensuring optimised energy use in every area.

Low-Impact LED Lighting
Energy efficiency also extends to our choice of lighting. All guest rooms at our hotel are fully illuminated with LED lights, achieving energy savings of up to 90% compared to traditional bulbs.
We continue to expand LED coverage in our common areas as well, currently reaching approximately 80%.
Responsible Water Management
To consciously conserve water, all guest showers feature water-saving mixers, significantly reducing water usage without compromising your comfort. For watering the flowers on our balconies, we’ve used a drip irrigation system for several years now, allowing us to optimise water use and reduce consumption by over 50% compared to conventional methods.
Efficient Heating Management
During the winter months, ensuring guest comfort while simultaneously avoiding waste is a top priority. Therefore, we've adopted an advanced temperature-monitoring system that precisely controls the heating in each room
This technology helps prevent unnecessary energy waste, while, at the same time, ensuring all the spaces in the hotel are warm and welcoming—all while respecting environmental resources.
Waste Reduction and Recycling
At Hotel Centrale Alleghe, sustainability is also about everyday actions, such as proper waste management. We actively promote recycling within our hotel, providing our staff with specific training to ensure careful separation of materials.
Additionally, we collaborate with specialised waste disposal companies, verifying that every type of waste is handled responsibly and according to environmental regulations.
This is an ongoing practice that reflects our commitment to environmentally conscious hospitality.
